Lyceum’s SGP becomes Bellrock
Lyceum Capital-backed facilities management provider SGP has rebranded and changed its name to Bellrock.
The move follows Lyceum’s acquisition of the business from the FM division of AIM-listed Johnson Service Group PLC in August 2013, which saw the investor back a new and experienced management team.
Bellrock provides specialist facilities management, building services and property management services to a wide range of clients throughout the UK and Ireland. Operating in the corporate, public, retail and hospitality sectors, the company designs and implements bespoke solutions to improve the performance and value derived from organisations’ non-core activity.
Bellrock provides services to 45,000 sites across the UK, working with over 1,500 contractors supported by a facilities management intelligence centre (FMIC), which is based at the business’ headquarters in Leicester.
The company, which has grown significantly in recent years, will benefit from a clear and distinctive position within the market operating as Bellrock, as it targets growing vertical sectors, further develops its strong technology platform and adds to its broad range of services.
Martin Holt, CEO at Bellrock, said: “The story of the Bellrock lighthouse is about strength of vision, innovation and relentless resolve to challenge the status quo. It stands as an inspiration to those prepared to challenge how people think and strive for a better way.
“In our world of facilities management I believe there is a better way. Our role is to ensure that the properties we look after provide the best possible environment for clients to do what they do best, whether that is teaching the next generation or helping customers to choose the right outfit for a special occasion.
“We have a novel approach that is cost effective, collegial and flexible. I believe that there are leading segments of the market that are ready for a new way of working.”
