Julia joined Lyceum Capital in 2016 and is the firm’s Front of House.
Lucy joined Lyceum Capital in January 2017 supporting two Partners and the Operations Team. Previously, Lucy spent over three years as Executive Assistant at Genius Sports Group supporting the CFO, she was part of a team that successfully completed numerous corporate transactions. Lucy also spent four years as a Marketing Executive, having gained a Marketing Management degree from Oxford Brookes University.
Laura is assistant to three of Lyceum’s Partners, an Investment Director and an Investment Manager. Prior to joining Lyceum Capital, she worked in clerking for a large Civil set of Barrister’s Chambers in Temple, London. Laura holds a degree in Biomedical Science from the University of Sheffield.
Luke joined Lyceum in 2016 and is a Director within the Origination team focused on sourcing new investment opportunities. Prior to this, Luke led and originated transactions within the Mid Market Leverage Finance team at RBS; the Investment team at Sovereign Capital and the Ernst & Young Business Services M&A team.
Luke is a qualified Chartered Accountant and a member of ICAS.

Charlotte joined Lyceum in 2016 and works for the Finance Director and several Executives. Charlotte has a PA Diploma from Oxford Media and Business School.
Martin joined Lyceum in 2016 as a consultant working on developing relationships and deal opportunities for the firm in the Midlands. Previously he spent over 30 years at Lloyds Bank latterly as head of its Acquisition Finance team in Birmingham. During Martin’s time at Lloyds Bank he funded a broad range of leveraged finance deals, including buy outs, acquisitions and P2Ps. Martin is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers and holds an MA in Modern History from Oxford University.
Regina joined in June 2016 and is responsible for Lyceum’s Marketing and PR strategy to help communicate and define the Lyceum brand. Before joining the firm in 2016, Regina has gained over 10 years’ experience within the financial services sector, translating ideas into clear communications that help achieve business goals.
Previous positions include Head of Marketing & Communications at B2B trading technology and connectivity provider Ullink, and at Tradition, the global interdealer broker.
She has 12 years’ experience in the leveraged finance market, joining Lyceum Capital after nine years at European Capital where she was an Investment Director in the Private Debt team. Anne-Claire has arranged and structured mid-market UK and European company financings in the business services, healthcare and retail sectors, having previously also spent 3 years structuring large private equity deals in the Leveraged Finance team of Lehman Brothers.
Anne-Claire holds a post-graduate diploma from University Paris IX-Dauphine and is a native French speaker.
John has over 40 years’ experience of building strategic growth in businesses and implementing successful turnarounds and buy and build strategies. He has held senior executive positions in UK and international companies in the IT, professional services and consumer industries including being Chairman of Wireless Logic. John is currently Chairman and CEO of Vislink plc, Chairman of David Philips Furniture and Kallidus as well as Chairman of Lyceum-backed Isotrak.
Lindsay spent 12 years in various senior executive roles with Tyco Inc, including as Managing Director of Tyco Electronic Systems and Regional CEO of Tyco Fire & Integrated Solutions. He then held senior executive roles within a number of manufacturing, logistics, support services, engineering services businesses, including CEO of Seacon Group and Sustainable Advantage. Lindsay has worked with Lyceum Capital on a number of investments and is currently a non-executive director of Isotrak and Coryton Advanced Fuels.
Mike focuses on the operational performance of portfolio companies, working with management teams to plan & execute projects. Prior to joining Lyceum Capital Mike spent two years at Speedy Hire Plc, focusing on Strategy & Change across the international business; building on a previous role at Serco Consulting, working predominantly with public sector contracts & transitions. Mike holds a B.Sc. in Business & Economics from the University of Sussex.
Tom is part of Lyceum Capital’s investment team focusing on sourcing, structuring and executing both platform and portfolio add-on acquisitions. Prior to joining the firm in April 2016, he spent over 4 years at Spayne Lindsay working on M&A deal execution with corporate and private equity clients primarily in the consumer sector. Tom holds a first class degree in History and French from Bristol University and is a merit holder of the ICAEW/CISI Diploma in Corporate Finance.
Anne Sofie focuses on sourcing and executing investments for Lyceum Capital. Before joining the firm in 2016, she spent three years at Advent International where she focused on investments in Business and Financial Services and TMT. Prior to Advent International, Anne Sofie worked at J.P. Morgan’s Investment Bank advising clients in the Oil & Gas and Utilities sectors on M&A and Capital Markets transactions. Anne Sofie holds a B.Sc. in International Business and an M.Sc. in Finance and Accounting from Copenhagen Business School.
Julia is responsible for co-ordinating Lyceum Capital’s Investor Relations and Fundraising activities and is Office Manager. Julia has worked in private equity for most of her career and supported Jonathan Bourn when they both worked at AAC Capital Partners. Julia holds a LLB (Hons) degree in Law with Criminology from the University of East London.
Matt joined Lyceum in December 2015 and is a member of the Origination and Research team. Before joining the firm, Matt spent 2 years at Preqin working on private equity research and with the commercial team. He holds an Economics and Politics degree from the University of Exeter.
Mark joined Lyceum in January 2016 and is a member of the Development Team. He has over 35 years’ management and operational experience with particular expertise in business services both in the UK and Internationally. Mark’s previous roles have included CEO of Speedy Hire PLC, Corporate Development Officer of Costain PLC and Group Operational Efficiency Director at Serco Group PLC. Mark is a Member of British Empire (MBE), and holds an MBA and MA in Defence and Strategic Studies from Kings College London.

Bill is Principal of McCall & Partners, a strategic, corporate finance advisory business. He has been Chairman of a number of Lyceum Capital-backed companies, including Asquith Nurseries, M&C Energy, Leasedrive Velo & Compact Media Group. Bill was an Individual Member of the London Stock Exchange, is a Fellow of the Chartered Banker Institute and a Fellow of the Chartered Securities Institute.
Martin is Chairman of Clearswift a global cyber software vendor backed by Lyceum in 2011, Leathwaite an international talent specialist and Latimer, a youth media business.
As Group CEO, he grew IRIS Software to become one of the UK’s largest private software house, increasing Enterprise Value from £30m to £500m through three MBOs backed by LDC, Hg Capital and Hellman and Friedman. He is an Enterprise Fellow of the Princes Trust and investor in a variety of digital social businesses. Awards include EY Entrepreneur of the Year (Communications & Technology category 2006) and the Maserati 100, recognising entrepreneurs who give back to support the next generation. He has a degree in Management Sciences from Manchester University.
Gerry spent 14 years as the Managing Director of Bodycote Testing Group and a member of the Plc board, driving significant growth and leading over 50 group add-on acquisitions. Following the sale of that business for £425 million to private equity, Gerry worked with Lyceum Capital on a number of investment opportunities before joining the board of M&C Energy Group as Executive Chairman and is currently Chairman of Bellrock.
David has 20 years’ experience in senior roles at Computer Software Group, Solution 6 Group and Tyco International with a strong focus on performance improvement, M&A and international growth. He is currently a non-executive director of Style Research. David holds a degree in Economics from Cambridge University.
Gareth is a member of Lyceum Capital’s Supervisory Board, and an adviser to the Investment Committee.
Starting his career at P&G, Gareth moved to IBM, where he was a director and board member of IBM UK and IBM Financial Services. He then held senior executive roles within a number of technology and support services businesses, including Chief Executive of Rebus HR Group where he grew EBITDA from £6 million to £14 million and led General Atlantic and Warburg Pincus’s exit to Northgate I.S. Subsequently he has chaired many PE owned companies, and most recently was Chairman of Access Group, a software company, during the period of Lyceum’s investment.
Gareth holds an honours degree in Physics from the University of Wales.
Adam focuses on sourcing and executing new platform investments and add-on opportunities for Lyceum Capital’s portfolio companies. Before joining the firm in 2012, he spent four years at NBGI Private Equity where he focused on investments in mid-sized businesses. Prior to that his background was in strategy consulting at Deloitte. He holds a BSc in Business Administration from the University of Bath.

Alice joined Lyceum Capital in 2012 and is Assistant to various members of the team including two of Lyceum’s Partners and an Investment Director.
Alistair is part of Lyceum Capital’s investment team sourcing, structuring and executing both platform and portfolio add-on acquisitions. Before joining the firm in 2015, he spent over four years at KPMG working in Corporate Finance and Audit, where he worked with mid-market industrial, retail and construction companies. Alistair is a Chartered Accountant and holds a BA in Economics from the University of Exeter.
Geoff joined Lyceum in February 2015 and is a member of the Development Team. He has over 25 years’ international corporate management experience with particular expertise in technology and business process outsourcing. Geoff is on the board of Carewatch, Sabio and TotalMobile. Geoff’s previous roles have included managing director of Sx3, chief executive of Admiral plc and senior executive positions at Fujitsu and Atos. Geoff holds a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics from Kings College London and is an INSEAD Alumni.

Jonathan joined Lyceum in October 2014 and works on sourcing and executing investments for Fund III. He joined from Baird where he was a Managing Director in its Global Investment Banking business leading coverage of financial sponsors across the UK and Continental Europe. For the prior 11 years, he was a partner at AAC Capital Partners, where he focussed on business service and leisure companies in the UK mid-market. He started his career in leveraged finance where he provided senior debt financing to a broad range of MBOs across Europe, working for both NatWest and Credit Suisse First Boston. He holds a BSc (Hons) in Economics from Hull University. Jonathan is also on the board of EAT. and Coryton Advanced Fuels.

Steve has spent 10 years as FD, COO, CEO and Divisional Chairman across the private equity-backed Saga and AA groups, working on the highly successful Saga MBO in 2007. Prior to this he held director level positions at Marks & Spencer, Treatt plc and Hillsdown Holdings. Steve is Chairman at Lyceum Capital-backed Carewatch and holds an Engineering degree from Liverpool University.
Dan supports portfolio companies’ performance management, improvement and strategic business development. Before joining the firm in 2013 he worked for Lonrho plc, Freemantle Media and Temenos Group. Dan qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Deloitte and holds a BSc Honours degree in Economics from the University of Warwick.
Martin is part of Lyceum Capital’s investment team sourcing, structuring and executing both platform and portfolio add-on acquisitions. Since joining the firm in January 2009, Martin has worked on five platform investments and has helped to complete over 20 add-on acquisitions for portfolio companies. He currently sits on the board of TotalMobile. Martin has a MA in Law from Cambridge and is a qualified solicitor with 13 years of deal experience.

Ian leads Lyceum Capital’s Origination team. Before joining the firm in 2008, he worked for Arbuthnot Securities and SG Hambros in Corporate Finance, focusing on M&A and capital markets transactions in the support services, healthcare, technology and transportation sectors. Ian holds a BSc in Politics and Economics from Bristol University.

Simon works on sourcing and executing investments for Lyceum Capital and currently sits on the boards of Sabio and Sequence Care. He also manages the firm’s investment team. Before joining Lyceum Capital in 2009, Simon spent seven years at Sovereign Capital and made investments in UK mid-sized growth companies. He has over 18 years’ experience investing in service sector and technology businesses, particularly those with buy and build strategies. Simon started his career with PwC Corporate Finance, where he qualified as a chartered accountant and he holds a BSc in Business Administration from the University of Bath.

David has worked with Lyceum since 2000 and joined the LLP as a partner and head of the Operations team in 2006. He is now a full-time Industrial Partner, working on existing portfolio companies and new investment opportunities. David has a wealth of experience, having worked in the UK and internationally across a wide range of sectors, holding senior directorships in the technology, logistics, business services, engineering services, financial services, leisure and consumer industries. He qualified as a chartered accountant with Peat, Marwick and Mitchell (now KPMG) and holds an honours degree in Mechanical Engineering from Imperial College, London.
Jeremy co-founded Lyceum Capital and focuses on sourcing and executing investments. He currently sits on the boards of Bellrock and Style Research. Before Lyceum Capital, Jeremy was a founding shareholder and Partner at Duke Street Capital. He qualified as a chartered accountant with Coopers & Lybrand (now PwC) and holds a joint degree in Computer Science and Accountancy from Manchester University, where he is also an honorary teaching fellow. Jeremy is a past chairman of the British Venture Capital Association (BVCA).

Philip co-founded Lyceum Capital and is the firm’s full-time Chairman. He chairs the Investment Committee and focuses on portfolio company development. Over the last 25 years he has worked in private equity and related M&A, corporate development and turnarounds in Europe and the US. Before founding Lyceum Capital, he developed and managed the European private equity operations at Investcorp. Philip has an MA in Economics from Magdalene College, Cambridge and qualified as a chartered accountant with Price Waterhouse (now PwC).
Philip is also a member of the Tusk Trust development board, a charity that initiates and funds conservation, community development and environmental education programmes across Africa and is a member of The Samaritans advisory board.
Philip is chairman of Lyceum’s Supervisory Board and Investment Committee.
I founded the firm to provide smaller and mid-sized companies in the UK not only with capital, but also the business development and operations support that leads to accelerated growth.
Andrew leads the financing of all investments and is responsible for Lyceum Capital’s investor relations and fundraising. He also serves on the boards of EAT. and Sequence Care. Prior to joining Lyceum Capital in 1999, Andrew spent five years at PwC, where he advised clients on deals throughout Europe. Andrew qualified as a chartered accountant with Price Waterhouse (now PwC) and holds a joint honours degree in French and German from Bradford University. He is a visiting speaker at the London Business School.

Jeremy is Lyceum Capital’s Finance Director, responsible for financial monitoring and reporting. Prior to joining the firm in 2009, he worked for a hedge fund for three years. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant with PwC and holds an MA in Classics from Trinity College, Oxford.

Sophie joined the firm in 2007 and is responsible for Lyceum’s Talent Management programme, which involves identifying and interacting with best-in-class management candidates across a variety of sectors and markets. In addition, she also manages Lyceum’s internal recruitment efforts. Sophie holds a degree in Psychology from the University of Sheffield.

Tom holds an MA in Music from the University of Cambridge and a management degree from the Judge Business School, Cambridge.
