Dan currently sits on the boards of Clinovia, VELO and Fox IT. He is involved in sourcing and executing new investment opportunities for Lyceum, most notably in media, healthcare and business services. Since joining Lyceum, Dan has been involved in the acquisition of InterCare, the sale of Southern Cross and the de-merger of Fox IT Group in 2004 and the acquisition of National Britannia in 2005. Dan was a director of Southern Cross until its disposal in September 2004
Before joining Lyceum in 2003, Dan spent six years in the London buy-out team of 3i, focusing on companies in the services and media industries in the UK. While at 3i, Dan was involved with thirteen companies, including Travelex, Paragon Publishing, Pinewood-Shepperton Studios, Tigerprint, Mill Digital Media, PaperPak and Coutts Consulting. Dan was also involved in growth capital investments in Sports First, Shine Entertainment and Ministry of Sound.
Dan qualified as a Chartered Accountant with the London office of Coopers & Lybrand (now PwC) in 1996. He holds a Commerce degree from Birmingham University.
