David has worked with Lyceum Capital since 2001, and formed part of Lyceum's business evaluation and development resource until he was appointed its Operations Partner in February 2006. He has carried out a number of assignments for Lyceum's portfolio companies. David is responsible for working closely with our portfolio company management on performance, development and strategic objectives before and after acquisition.
After successfully repositioning Fox IT, a Fund portfolio company, David was appointed CEO in 2002. He returned the company to good profitability, improving service quality and completing a US acquisition in the following year. In 2004, he was instrumental in putting together the merger of Fox's Managed Services Division with Digica, and subsequently joined the board of Digica. David is also a member of the Shareholder Committee of Coperion Group and is a director of National Britannia Group and VELO.
David is a specialist in corporate development, M&A and performance improvement, having extensive public and private company management experience in the UK and internationally. He has been a senior, interim or non-executive director at, among others, Lynton Group, Fairway Group, JO Hambro, MAI (now United Business Media), Hamley's, Eagle Star and United City Merchants.
His background over the past 26 years includes executive/development roles in businesses operating in the leisure, financial services, engineering services, technology, logistics, business services and consumer industries.
David is a Chartered Accountant and holds an Honours degree in Mechanical Engineering from Imperial College, London.
